The King has been forced to deal with the issue of the duel recently held on the morning of the 4th.

I can tell you that Wycherly is recovering from the embarrassing wound he sustained. It seems he might yet make a full recovery. However the gentleman that accompanied him and got wounded over an argument of interference died of his wounds the very next day. Of course, taken into account was the man's cowardly behaviour trying to interfere with the match. Still the Kings Law must be upheld.

The King has decided that instead of pushing this into the House of Lords at an inconvenient time he will fine you 500 pounds each, which will go towards the Chelsea Veteran Hospital. Rest assured that Wycherly is paying the same amount.
