"Being seen has never seemed to be a problem until today. I do think it is just my nerves that are a lot more raw than even I imagined." Alexandra replied and nodded at Daniel's explanation with a polite smile.

"A winter wonderland, I would imagine." She commented with her smile brightening feeling a bit better that she was away from the crowd and trying to push her upset feelings that were implanted by self-doubt as well as the behaviour of the one she called friend.

"Oh my that sounds horrifying. I am so sorry to hear that such had happened during your stay." She frowned when his tone became a bit tight as Daniel spoke of Charles. It was on the tip of her tongue to pry further on the tone, but could not really figure out a way that did not sound rude and intrusive.

Just as quickly Daniel changed the subject towards her. "My grandfather had sent me to the King's Court for my first season." She replied not knowing that the young man thought that she was a Frenchwoman. "In my first season, I had the good fortune of marrying in London and we are here for the King's wedding. The event of the century I would imagine."

Then she asked with curiosity at his accent recognising it from a certain card game with another group of men, "And where do you join us from?"

Alexandra smiled, "Thank you. Francois Neuville, eldest son to the Comte de Baligne. Are you acquainted with my husband?" She asked curiously always interested in who her husband's friends were. Even though she had been married to him for quite some time now the woman still did not know as much as she wanted to know about him. Of course, what she could share was rather inappropriate to share.

"Oh, I am so sorry to hear of your injuries. I would imagine that there are plenty of woman to meet and wed. I do hope that you do find a suitable woman to wed, my lord." The fiery haired girl replied happily as she asked, "Any particular woman come to mind that you are considering a courtship with?"

At the mention of Lady Rebecca, Alexandra nodded slowly, "Yes, I do know her." Her aquamarine colored eyes gazed at Daniel trying to gauge exactly what she should say. It was rather awkward to be the one to tell him the news of the particular woman that had been named. "Lady Rebecca I would imagine is attending Windsor, but I have not had an opportunity to see her anywhere. My husband and I had the joy of witnessing her marriage to Lord Hale." She was not entirely sure what her information had started, but she observed her walking companion to see if any emotion was given away at the news.

Alexandra returned the smile and nodded wondering what he knew of the Baligne for she knew nothing and her husband rarely spoke of his father just knowing there was a falling out between the two and a fire to prove himself.

She tilted her head to listen to Daniel's reasonings behind marriage and mentioned being the family of the Prince and it took her back to thoughts of Noni having married the man of her dreams who was a physician and a baron. "Marrying for love I would imagine would take far longer." Hers being arranged by the King in an attempt to protect her and his child.

"Do you wish a sweet girl that would hang upon your every word, or a woman that knew her mind and could command a household," she asked teasingly trying to at least procure some traits that did not necessarily have to lean towards 'love'.

"Oh my goodness, that is terrible." She choked out a whisper, "I had no idea what had transpired, but I am so happy that things had turned out for the best." Alexandra was not blind and she wondered if there was something more than just saviour between Daniel and Rebecca. "If I see her, I shall let her know of your arrival. I would imagine she would be happy to see that you are doing so very well." Keeping things polite while trying to work through the tragedy that was just dropped on her nonchalantly like a keg of lit gunpowder.
