Windsor Time Frame

Postby Charles Rex » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:06 am

As explained in our wiki here: http://www.ageofintrigue.com/wiki/index ... ime_window
we have moved the time frame. This means that London is now officially closed, just wrapping up the ball. Previously we opened the 10th as the most forward playing date.

The 8th has moved to Closing up. We advise people to slowly start working towards wrapping those threads up, and any threads done on that date will now be archived so we keep oversight.

The 9th has moved to the Closing up part of the frame. Please work towards bringing an end to those threads still running on the 9th, though it need not be with summaries unless convenient. The 11th has been opened as the most forward point in time. Remember that the 11th has two scheduled events. You can find details on the calender in the wiki here:
http://www.ageofintrigue.com/wiki/index ... ent_Events

The London forum will be archived after this weekend. Please make your last posts to the Ball if you have not yet done so.

Hi! ^.^

I couldn't find the right thread but decided this is near to it. If possible, can we move to the 12th, or are there things brewing behind the scenes that has that date closed off for the time being? :o I find myself running out of threads and just wanted to ensure that I keep Alexa busy or she gets in the strangest 'idle hands' predicament.

Two lords were standing on a hill, looking down on all of the Courtiers at Windsor. The first lord said "Let's run down there, duel a lord and seduce his widow."

The second Lord said "No milord, let's walk down there and duel and seduce them all."

I think we should stay on the Masque ball, as it seems to be an important event! Anything could happen!

An FYI for the newer folk, that the Event threads exist outside of the usual time frame guidelines. ie: While you need still enter an event in chronological order, an event thread keeps on running till the event is comes to it's end. It usually takes a couple of months for a ball for instance, and I imagine the hunt will take a similar length of time.

We are all bound to be posting to the 12th and 13th, while the ball and hunt will be still running. Rule of thumb is that during the first few days 'after' an event (while it's actually still running, but our characters are posting to subsequent days) nobody brings up talking about the event, as it's outcomes are not all decided.

I'd estimate that by the time we are opening up the 14th, the events on the 11th will be completed, and we'll be then free to talk about it in IC threads.

The Timekeeping page has been updated to include the information on events: http://www.ageofintrigue.com/wiki/index.php/Timekeeping

We have moved the timeframe. This means that the 10th of October threads should by now be winding down. Meanwhile you may start threads on the 12th of October.

The 10th is now outside the timeframe and where possible will be summarized away. You are asked to seek closure (though at leisure) on threads on the 11th unless they are in one of the event forums. We will likely open for the wedding of the King on the 14th within the week, so we recommend all characters try and move forward to the 13th of October by now.

To ensure that people don't feel "held up" with slow moving events we have opened the 15th and 16th. Please note that the 12th is now out of the timeframe. We ask that you work towards closing threads on the 13th.

In further news the calender has been updated: http://www.ageofintrigue.com/wiki/index ... ent_Events

Please start closing up threads on the 13th of October.

I saw we have this sign up now... I really suck at ending threads, so would love it if players could help me out in drawing to a close the threads that are slipping into the past. Like, if there is anything important you want to achieve in the threads, do it now. Then maybe in a couple of more posts, we can fade out upon those scenes? I prefer fade outs to complete stops, don't you?

Oh, and ps, if there are any new threads made that I am meant to be writing the npc for, please do pm me your links! :D

With the exception of the wedding itself, please start closing threads on the 14th of October and before. You might wish to make a summary or suggest one to your moderator.

We really encourage people at this point of time to move onto the 16th. The highpoint of our season will be on the evening of the 16th.

Please start closing the threads on the 15th. Again, we urge people to move to the flotilla event if you haven't arrived there already.
