Our new season is now open: Spring 1677 !
Each Player is assigned a Player Compendium per character. An example for a Player Compendium is provided on the boards. A Player compendium is a secret forum for each character. In it moderators and player can exchange information about the character, plot and discuss. The player will be a moderator to the forum and so can prettify the forum as he or she sees fit.
Completed Character Sheet
This is the final, approved, charactersheet. You may add some additional approved material.
Questions to the Mods
Essential for communication between you the player and us the mods.
Here you keep track of the big expenses. You need not have to keep an account of what you pay for inventory items or day to day expenses.
Moderator Advised - here we will tell you information that you gain from NPCs in the background. Like something your brother mentioned over tea, or another small follow up. Ypu are allowed to use it in CD kind of threads that you mark MA so that other players know it is authorized by mods.
Here you keep track of the threads your character has been in, the threads currently played out and future events your character has agreed upon, or wishes to participate in
Here you keep track of your character and how events affect him or her, including benefits, challenges and skills. On the long term this thread helps you keep track and claim accomplishments.
What are the goals and ambitions of your character. Have they changed recently? Have some been accomplished? New ones made? This threads helps you create focus for your character.
Essential thread for some, just some nice tinkering for others. Your wardrobe limits, including jewellery, are set by your Wealth level.
Characters with a strong gambling challenge might agree to keep track of of their bad habits here. Generic gambling is presumed to be part of your day to day expenses.
Frequently the mods will ask you what plotlines in your eyes are stuck and what you hope for the rest of the season. Often overlooked however is all the mischief you see possible for your character. Mischief that you would love to play out, even though for your character they might be bad, or embarrassing, or simply a comedy of errors.
This mischief could include instances where your character faces the challenges you have chosen for your character. Try and find some new angles for your character by allowing imperfection.
We therefore encourage you to keep a frequently updated list of scenario's that you would love to submit your character to in your Player Compendium. Only list those that are fun for you to write, as we do not want to submit you to any perceived darkness or something incredibly dull. This is about having fun. Try and think up some mischief for your character that makes you chuckle!
Married (or other wise connected) Characters
In addition to their Player Compendium the players with characters married to each other will have a special Couple Compendium, so they can share information and discuss things with moderators without having to sacrifice all their secrets to their spouse.
