Jewellery
For gentlemen and ladies jewellery is an essential accessory. It shows wealth & status of the owner and the giver. It also is a prime way for ladies to save some money for a rainy day. You are allowed to assume some jewellery according to your wealth level.

Standard Jewellery
You can buy jewellery by simply listing it in your Player Compendium, using our inventory list and deducting the price from your ledger. This is the most instant way of buying, it will simply be assumed you did so before the season started. While you can add some details in general this will be more common items than things for which you put in some effort through role playing.
Buying Jewellery IC
There are jewellery shops available in both London and Windsor and sometimes special items are on sale through other means. Jewellers will offer both newly made items, and antiques that are sold on. We mainly view these locations as role playing opportunities. Perhaps there is a story attached to a few of the items on sale, or it becomes simply a place for player interaction.
Custom made
A special commission would require time. A simple setting could be completed in a week, but to fabricate and then set several stones in an item would take upwards of a month. A truly elaborate work, such as a multi-strand gold necklace set with many stones, could be several months. Fine work required daylight, as candles and lamps were insufficiently illuminating. Rush work would certainly cost more.
So, buying customized items require you to do some forward planning. You can do this both in your Player Compendium and IC.
