Lump Sum

Rather than a steady income as represented by your Wealth Level, this benefit provides the character with a one-off quantity of cash. Somehow they got a big break and they now have these extra funds to use to their advantage. However, once they are spent they are gone.

Typical quantities and values, depending on Wealth Level:

• 1000 pounds (Financially Secure)
• 5000 pounds (Financially Well-to-Do)
• 20.000 pounds (Financial Abundance)

You cannot take this benefit with the challenge Poverty, or in other words when you are Impoverished according to your Wealth Level. Ladies can only take this benefit if they are a widow, otherwise they would not have control over the money.
