Introduction
One of the tips on the character creation page is to pick a name that reflects the period in which Age of Intrigue is set (i.e., the 17th century).
Below you will find a table of the most popular 17th century male and female names in England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
Please keep the following in mind, however:
- These names are Anglicized names - that is, regional variants (Sean for John, for example) are not included.
- Only names from the British Isles are included - hopefully, names from other countries can be added in the future.
- These names are only suggestions. You do not have to chose a name for your character from this page. It is meant only as a resource to help you get started.
