Born in 1588 to Edward Beauchamp Seymour, Earl of Hertford, and Honora Rogers Seymour, he was twice married and the father of 7 children. He died on 24 October 1660. His brother Francis became the 1st Baron Seymour of Trowbridge. His title went to his grandson (through his predeceased son, Henry, Lord Beauchamp), William Seymour II.
